Dr  Gargi Sinha completed her MBBS from one of the premier institute of India: Lady Hardinge Medical College New Delhi.  Soon after her medical graduation, she completed her advanced training in field of Medical Acupuncture. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Public Health with distinction from Edith Cowan University , Western Australia. Her strong communication  skills of academic presentation and writing has been appreciated on several platforms and helped her to gain a high distinction (WAM 80 +) in Public health Strategies from Edith Cowan University , Western Australia . 

She is successfully collaborating with the researchers of India and abroad to understand the evidence-based practices in Health Science. Her research interest areas are harm minimisation of   alcohol in young population and role of ear acupuncture. Currently, she is conducting a qualitative thematic analysis on newspaper stigmatisation of people who use drugs and using harm reduction facilities such as Supervised Injecting Spaces in Australia.

Her challenging yet unique project Nasha Mitra is currently running in Tripura with the involvement of local population. She holds Membership of Australian  Integrative Medicine and had the privilege of attending Australian Medical Acupuncture Co.nference at Perth Australia. She represent her team of medical acupuncturist at Sinhacure -India at various conferences including  Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Annual Conference at Perth and Adelaide. She is also an international member of Australian Health Promotion Association .
